Our Process
MarkNet Group has a proven website development and graphic design process that involves steps to bring your website to life and to ensure the project objectives are met.
Phase 1. Strategic Planning.
We meet with you to review your objectives, target market and brand identity. This information is used to develop a website strategy, Internet marketing plan, web design concept, and draft website requirements. You approve the requirements document to ensure the website plan is consistent with your needs and objectives.
Phase 2. Develop Website Architecture.
Once the website requirements are established, we decide on the website architecture, website content, user interaction, and the color scheme of your site.
Phase 3. Interface Design.
The website design process begins with our graphic designers creating composites of your website. The following is provided to you during this phase:
- We present web design composites of the home page and a level two page (interior page).
- The website design is approved and the HTML templates are created. You sign off on the templates, navigation and level two pages.
- Final website content is submitted to MarkNet Group and sent to the production team.
- We ensure all pages are search engine friendly.
Phase 4. Website Development.
When all of the content is finalized then web developers and programmers bring all of the pieces together. The following is completed during this phase:
- All XHTML code, server scripting, and navigation is completed.
- Backend engineering/programming is completed.
Phase 5. Comprehensive Beta Testing.
During this phase our Q & A specialists test all aspects of your website and administrative areas’ usability, functionality and content. Once our internal testing is completed, you begin your internal walk through of the website and backend administrative area. We recommend you set aside enough time to perform a thorough review of your website prior to launch.
Phase 6. Site Launch.
At this point the site is ready for launch. We train your staff to perform ongoing website maintenance and to evaluate site traffic. Depending on the size and complexity of the administrative area, training will be in-house or over the telephone. When you are equipped to maintain your website, the site is launched.
As a result, you will be equipped with a user-friendly website that exceeds the project objectives.
